handlebar rise

I have a 2001 polaris xc 500, does anyone know how tall of a handlebar rise I can put on without having to extend my cables?

Usually get by with 2" before you have to extend the cables.

you might be able to get by with a bigger one if you re-route all your cables. we were able to put a 9" riser on a F5 just by re-routing all the cables.

I put a 4" plus articulating attachment on a '01 800 with no problems. I had to make sure all the cables and brake lines were not strapped down with any zip ties en-route to the handle bars though.
