I have gone Turkey Hunting a couple times

8-10 years ago I tried to go every fall and spring hunt.

Trout fishing is going full bore during the same time.

I like trout fishing better.

I went along in May 2007 to be a gear bearer and place procurer.

He got a jake.

I've read your posts about the "driftless area" and the great trout fishing to be had. This area also happens to be some of the best turkey habit anywhere. No reason you can't do both, I do.

That's a lot of trout fishing. I'd turkey hunt that many if I thought I could get away with it.
