Clam 2000...anybody else having problems?

I purchased the Clam 2000 last fall. Already both zippers are starting to fail on me. There is so much pressure that the zipper will not connect and when it does it is so tight that I have busted the tab off trying to get it shut.

Anybody else having problems like this? If so, will they do anything to help a guy out or am I just SOL?

Yeah my buddy bought a clam 2000 this winter 2 or 3 time using it the zipper broke. He returned it, I heard from a guy at gander that said the clam 2000 is the only one made over seas, and they have issues with the zippers.

I'd talk to Clam, their customer service is excellent. I'm not sure what would cause it to be that tight, it might have been put together wrong (no offense) or maybe the fabric/rods were too long/short for some reason.

I did some looking and you can buy a next tent for around $94 bucks for the 2000 from clam. Or you could take it to a camping store some fix camping tents and i'm sure they could fix it for a reasonable price.

I brought my house inside, tried chapstick...didn't work at all. The zipper does not connect at all anymore (a blanket serves as the door).

My buddy bought the same house...it is doing the same thing.

Anybody know what it would cost to get it fixed?
