522 Ice Transducer Issue?

So, I've noticed that my Ice transducer has a hard time picking up my jig in water deeper than 14ft. I've spent many hours on the ice toying with settings and am now at my wit's end. I can see fish movement and everything down there but the jigs just aren't showing up. Could it be a faulty transducer? Anything I'm missing here? smirk Thanks.
