B-man715
It makes me smile seeing that other people eat fish this way I learned it from my grandma and grandpa over 20 years ago. I would ride my bike over to their house on Bone lake and sit and the end of the dock all summer long!! They had 2 black marks on the dock, if the fish was longer than the 2 marks I could keep it. My grandpa had polio as a young man and spent the last 50 years of his life in a wheelchair. My best memories are being with him on the end of that dock... He died 6 years ago, but if I catch just 5 or 6 sunfish I still clean them like that. Every bite and bone brings back great memories. There is more than one way to skin a cat, but this is the only way to fry a bluegill!!
frazwood
Thanks for the memories. Growing up, I was the kid who got stuck beheading, gutting, and scaling fish. I absolutely HATED it, in part because I don't like fish cooked that way. I fillet every fish I eat these days and I'd never go back. It's weird how re-living a bad memory makes me happy.
