How clear is Mille Lacs?

Making my first trip to Mille Lacs Lake in a couple of weeks and plan to take my underwater camera. How clear is the water? Can I expect to see 5, 10, 15+ feet? Will probably be fishing near Spirit Island in about 25 fow. Just curious.

Mille Lacs is about the clearest metro lake there is.. Expect to see 10 plus feet during the day...

Staying out of one of the Appeldorn houses the other week, we could clearly see the rocks down 20 feet during the day. Cameras worked all day and all night.

I fished the northside of the mud flats last wekk in 26 FOW and was the clearest lake I have ever used my camera in.

we stayed out by spirt island last weekend and I could see my minnow in 24 fow without the camera.

Just spent the past two days near Spirit Island. Could see jigs 15' away on other end of house at depth of 31'.

I was out in a rental at Mcquoids last week for two nights. I could see my buddy's phone on the bottom in 21 FOW. It looked so peaceful down there. It was my first time fishing Mille Lacs. Two nights and not one fish.... But a lot of um...beverages...
