shamrock7
Any ideas as to where a guy can get a Nils Auger extension? Thought the outdoor store here had them but do not see them on the site and no contact info there.
Northlander
Wow you must be into a ton of ice/slush/snow up there if ya need a Nils extension. Or you made the mistake of buying the "shorty". Im sure you can order one through Nils. What size do you need? I know they sold out of the 14" extensions so all they have left are the long 28" extension. E-mail me and I will get you the contact info of the guy to call.

shamrock7
Thanks guys. Have the big house on LOW and once blocked up for the slush and then put the slush bucket under the auger then add in 24" of ice, you have "oh crop, am I going to get through" ittis... and, yes, it is the standard length, not the shorty. Ryan84*
Shamrock:Do you have the 42" or 48". I have the 42" and have never encountered any issues(yet). I don't have a permi either. How much ice is up on LOW. ThanksRyan

aczr2k
Here's the one I ordered last year right from Nils. If they are sold out you can always have a strikemaster/jiffy style one made. I have a drawing I'd be happy to share, made mine out of stainless. I have used both last year, 48"+ ice, 16" or so of hardpack and a wheelhouse, you need lots of extension.
