Minong area

New to the forum...good forum. Anyone try the Minong area for "eyes" Saturday?

Fished the flowage from 9:00a.m. until 6:00 p.m. 3 eyes,(two over 15"), two crappies, 6 nice gills, and numerous hammer handles. water temp was 54-55 deg and we were fishing the wind swept shores.
I think it was too bright for a day bite.Maybe try again on saturday.

I don't fish that area, but welcome to FM! FM is a great place even for WI folks. Lots of fun and info. to be had here!
