LABS4ME & puppy prices?

Hey LABS, what would your guess be on a FC titled female bred to a FC-AFC, high point 2008 open dog?

I am heading south to pick him up in April.

I would guess. 1000-$1500 per pup.

Matt, you are a little light on your guess. Fortunately for me I know the owner of the female pretty well.

Knowing that well bred dogs with only one titled parent are commanding $1000 - 1500, I'd have to put these in the $2000 -$2200 neighborhood. It would not surprise me to hear of these pups going in the $2500 - $3000 range as I have seen some limited litters in that range also. I have not kept up to date on the new 'trial' pups as I have over the past couple of decades, but know enough guys still active to have a 'feel' for what pups are priced at.

Excited to start fresh? I bet you are! Nothing like the promis of a new well bred pup when playing the game!

Thats what I like about hounds--you can still get a pup outta the world champion coon hound for under $500. For 2 grand a hound better be able to tree it's own coon.
