BEWARE OF CLAM COMMAND POST

THEDOGG

Question

took my brand new clam command post 6man house out for the first time day after New Years and one of the end windows split top to bottom not a crack it split wide open, the velcro on another window flap pulled right off and 1 grommet for the ice screw was bent aside from all these defects the inside pockets are so tight yo can barely get a glove in them =-= but they are easy to set up and take down and have alot of room, BUT CLAM WILL NEED TO REDESIGN THE WINDOW'S THEY HAVE TOO MUCH STRESS ON THEM

I had to get an RMA on a command post too. Clam took care of my issue right away and got me a new unit. I had a grommet come out completely - had it setup 2 days in some pretty brutal conditions on LOW. They should be using a higher quality component for such a critical point on the hub shelters - I think they are aluminum... eek

Sounds like the issues have been taken care of by the manufacture and something we'd all expect. Which really is the best way to go about getting issues resolved. Its not just Clam Corp and could be said for any outdoor product. Go though Customer Service, they are there to take care of you.
