zdmiller
My buddy and I have been trying for eyes on Owasso and have had no luck so far. I want to take my buddy out on owasso or some other lake around the metro to hit the eyes before he deploys at the end of this month. Any tips would be great. If you have tips you can reach me at [email protected] thanks.

South_Metro_Slayer
i fish owassa quite a bit it can be tough, i went out last week by the ski jump i had one nice tap about hour bfore dark i was the only one on that part of the lake then about prime time i had guys drillin holes all around me it really [PoorWordUsage] me off cause i was only gonna be out there a couple hours, i say try glow red or just plain red hooks tipped with a small grass shiner, if no shiner available use fat heads. the owaso bite can be hit or miss u know it seems like first ice is your best chance but with this warm weather comin in it might heat things up, and dont be afraid 2 try shallow, and on owasso if u find the small perch u just found the walleye, id start around the first bend bye the private beach and work your way out 2 the ski jump point, ive had my best luck an hour before dark to the hour after dark, good luck
