looking for a particular boot liner

Recommended Posts

I am hoping someone can help me and point me in the right direction. I am looking for a felt boot liner that has laces

and a hard sole with about a 1/4 inch heel, you wear the old style black buckle boots over them, I use to buy them

at Kaplan Brothers when they were still on Franklin Ave. in Mpls. (which was a long time ago) I tried finding them on the internet but I haven't been sucessful, anyone remember these? and know where or how I could find them?

Thanks, k.

Hulk,

Kaplans is still around, the moved to about 13th and lake.

I was there a few weeks ago, live in S. Mpls, give them a call they might have what you're looking for.

Grant,

They do have Sorel liners, may not be exactly like what you had in your boots but I am sure they will have something that will fit.

thanks for the help/suggestion I'll have to give Kaplans a call

but I dread Lake Street, I'm still been searching the web, and haven't found the exact thing I looking for, I'm thinking I just might not,

the closest I'm come to is Patagonia Arnoux Boots- wool felt (for women) not exactly the same, but it's very

close, of course it's about 4 times what I use to pay, so I'll keep looking a little more, just can believe it's not out there somewhere

Thanks, k.

That part of Lake Street is no worse then the old Kaplans location on Franklin, I wouldn't be in tht area at midnight but during the day or evening it isn't bad, ( as long as you're packing some serious heat smile ). JK. Hulk you could try the Brooklin Park store probably a little closer for you, I like the lake street store a little smaller then the original but still just as packed with clothing and good service.
