Arctic Cougar problem

When the sled is cold, choke it, 5or 6 pulls and it starts and runs great. Then drive it for a while, stop someplace for a little while say half hour,try to restart and you can pull and pull it just spit a little. Any help please.

Sounds like you might have a coil going down on you, I had this happen to me before and it was a pain to figure out.

What you probably need to do is get a ohm reading on your coil(s) inside your flywheel. Take one reading when the sled is cold, then warm it up and ride it for a bit, take an ohm reading again, it's probably going to be out of the acceptable range when it is warm.

If you can get the info it's pretty easy to check the ohm's. There should be a couple plugs with wires going into the case near the recoil. Find the correct wires and get a reading. You'll probably have to talk to a cat shop to find the correct wires or just take it to a dealer and have them test it.
