slurpie
What makes a good weed location in shallow water on deep water lakes? Ive been trying to find crops in two different lakes with weeds and no luck so far. what makes a spot stand out and hold fish. Ive found them deep in some other lakes but would like to catch and release some fish.
Christopher Quast
Slurpie, I have found them in about 12-18 FOW lately and the best area I believe you can fish is where the bottom makes a transition from soft to sandy or hard... Deitz Dittrich
Depends on how much weed there is in a lake. To find good weeds I like weeds that have sand holes in them.. It also helps if there is a transition of one type of weed to another, and maybe has some rock near by.For me its all about drilling a ton of holes... and dropping down a decoy spoon to see if there are fish in the area.
