Lazy Hazy Day in North Dakota.

Grabbed this shot on the side of HWY 38 inbetween Page and hwy 18. The 2 large towers you see in the forground are the KVLY towers. ( World's Tallest Man Made Structure in the world) it is probably about 20-35 miles north of me in that picture, just to add some perspective.

Haven't done much as of late due to my house remodeling so I thought I had better go through my memory cards before my trip to Black Dog on Saturday morning.

Taken with Canon XTI 100-400 IS USM L on a window mount after pheasent rooster spooked and left. f8, 120mm, 1/1600 sec iso 200.

Actually SE of the Towers. On the Fargo Side. i was driving east back towards home and they were out my drivers side window.

Got it, I though you were up by Page.

I was up by page. South of Page are the 2 towers in Amenia for channel 6 and 13. North of Page near Galesburg is Channel 11.

OK, been a while since I was up that way. Are they 1/4 mile tall or something? I can't remember.

Nice shot. Now we need one of the windmill from the top of the tower.

I think Channel 11's tower is about 2600 feet. Almost 1/2 a mile. And FIsh Toys, YOu ain't got enough money to get me to take a picture of the windmill from the tower. LOL
