muskiegawd
I may not have had any luck out on Little Yellow for them, but Big Wood has been producing some nice fish 10-12"ers. I found that around 6pm activity seems to pick up. Found that they are suspended in deeper water 22-35ft. anywhere from 4-12 feet off bottom depending on what part of the lake you're fishing. Fatheads seem to be preferred over crappie minnows but mousies are the kicker. Marmooska jigs, large Glow Grubs, and chartruse teardrops are working well. black max
Are people driving out on wood lake now? I have never fished the lake yet, but have heard some good reports and I think I might give er a try this weekend.
muskiegawd
Ice is definately safe. If this weather keeps up auger extensions will have to be put on-that is if they are not already. Crappies are still on but finding them later on 6:30-9/10p.m. I was out tonight and caught a few-very spuratic though; largest 11"
