tracker
So im having problems with my sled not getting any spark. I switched the plugs, CDI box, cleaned the magneto contacts, tried starting with the ignition switch disconnected and still no spark. Anyone have any experiance with a similar problem? experiance working on a indy trail? any help would me much appreciatedThanks, Tracker
NAMASafetyDirector
On the wireing harness somewhere down below the carbs on the right side where the main harness plugs in there should be a black wire with a white snap connector on it which is the kill wire...maybe that got disconnected somehow?? Macgyver55
Could be the wiring harness down near the recoil, (where it goes into the motor) or the stator itself. I've seen more than a few that the wires rubbed through down there, but lots of bad stators too. If you have eliminated all the other possibilities, that would be my guess. tracker
I was thinking of replacing the magneto and stator. That very well could be the problem. Lately Ive been hearing more and more that the stators on the older polaris sleds are bad. Maybe thats what i will do. Still dont make sense tho. Where the CDI box plugs in there i hooked up a volt meter and there is a jump of voltage. Anyone kno what the volts should be when you give it a pull??
