Sportland_Bait
I'm thinking about taking a Honda Ridgeline for a test drive. What do you guys think about them? What is the fuel consumption like? My wife will be using it so we won't be doing a lot of hauling and such. Mostly just running errands and a little highway driving. Does it handle snow OK? We live here in MN so that is kind of an issue. Anything else, likes or dislikes? Thanks.Jason Erlandson
Shack
Unless some else can say different, but Honda is a very good manufacture. From generators to vehicles, I have known many who have owned them and have good things to say about them. Sorry, I do not have a personal experience with the model you are asking about. Jeremy airjer W
I always said if Honda built a truck I would be the first in line to get one. Unfortunately it is not a truck! It does have some pretty innovative features in the "box" that make it appealing!!I would give one a test drive but I wouldn't be afraid to look at a pilot as well. If I had the $$ there would be one in the driveway for the wife.
norm25
In my opinion you will be happier with the Pilot unless you really like the looks of the Ridgeline. The bed in the Ridgeline is too small to be of real use for hauling with the Pilot you can get the cargo liner for the interior and haul thing inside the vehicle and not worry about weather or thieves. deadeye
If your not hauling any huge loads or towing much and are set on a Honda look at a CRV too. They got 4x4 and get pretty good mileage. They ride nice on the freeway as well. Its based off of the civic platform and is pretty much bulletproof. As long as you do the timing belt and get the Honda specific fluids they are top notch. Plus easy to work on.
