12v outlet in perm

Anyone have any ideas on installing another 12v outlet in my perm without having to take off the paneling inside to hide wires? I only have one outlet inside and would like another one at opposite end of house. Does anyone sell an extension cord of sorts that can be mounted outside the paneling for this season until I can remove paneling in summer to install the rest of switches, outlets, etc. that I want added? My battery is on end of house with current outlet so I have to run the length of house with wire and new outlet.

Could run the wire along the base of your paneling from front to back and cover it with a trim piece.

If you use an extension cord avoid using zip type cords. Use a heavier jacketed cord and place an in line fuse ahead of it.

Considering the price of wire these day's,I would suggest using the the size conductor(wire)needed to handle the current needed in the circuit.c63

just go to an auto parts store they will get you fixed up with what you need they will have the outlet and all the wire and connectors that you will need .... i do a lot of 12 volt wiring if you have any more ?s just email me and i can go into more detail
