Wood peckers seem to be the deal today and that's just what I saw too. Weird. I saw micpic on the way to where some Bald Eagles have been taking some rough fish out of open water,but none showed. While I waited,I shot this Downy-who was doin some serious excavating!

50D+1.4xTC This was ISO 800,raw,with no noise reduction applied. A little noise there,but not bad for 800 iso on that jam packed sensor!
