Eskimo auger blades...

I have an Eskimo ice auger(from menards) and was wondering if anyone knows where I can get new blades for it. This is my third season with it and it's starting to cut veryyy slow. Rather then screw with sharpening it, i'll just spend the $6 I've heard they cost, for the new blades.... I bought one of those hand sharpeners from gander mt. and it didn't seem to help.

In duluth, go to marine general. they are on the wall as you go up/down the stairs, by all the other auger blades/parts.

Thanx. Are eskimo blades universal, or am i going to have to get my model? I think I have the 10" blade?

there are two different models of blades, make sure that you look at your auger before you purchase a set of blades. there is one that is like the old mora hand auger blades with grooves cut in it, and there is one that is a wider blade. You will also know how big your auger, ie 8" 9" 10".

Mikes Bat shop. on Hwy 8 in Forest lake carries them. You can also go online and go to ardisans web site and order them.
