Can any one tell me when the Canadian Fishing Opener is for Lake of the Woods?

Hmmm. Do you mean lake trout? You can start on Jan. 1... everything else remains open until April.

The summer walleye opener will be May 16 if my calendar is correct....

You need to clarify what species you are talking about, Trout Jan. 1, Walleye May 16, Muskie June 20.
