Anybody out there over the Christmas Break/Weekend?

Hoping to hear how the fishing was and any interesting sights that were viewed.. I have 2.

First. I was fishing in a Permanent off Cigar. Nothing biting of course.. midday. Watched a group of 4 fishing in a Fish Trap YUKON ! .. after they left a guy came over from another portable, fished the holes and looked to catch 1 perch. I thought he had won the lottery the way he sprinted to his buddies house. The buddy then proceeded to haul his ancient 10inch auger over 100 yards.. re drill the ALL READY DRILLED 8inch holes.. and proceeded to fish. WTH?

Second. Guy hauls out a gorgeous prob 16 foot wheelhouse. While he and his buddy take care of everything in regards to the house. The 8-10yr old that is with them takes the shovel and proceeds to hack away on the ice in an attempt at banking this monster! Loved the effort... but we all know that the snow out there is not our friend right now.

Did have some success fishing. Always have. Rush is a great lake. The crowds provide some entertainment and the lake never seems to let a guy down.

PS - I cant believe that the HILL is so bad! I slid all the way down and lord help any who didnt have a good run trying to get back out!
