Marcum VX-1 Any Good or not and what does a used one go for???

I know a guy that wants to sell his and was wondering are they a nice unit and what is a 1 yo one worth with the soft pak?

I love mine. I wouldn't pay more than $150--175.

I bought mine 2 years ago and works great for the price. Does not seem to filter out interference well though. If you fish away from Vexilars, you will love it !! Used price. . i don't know !

Fished next to an FL8 tonight. Hit the IR button a few times and never had another issue.

I saw them on sale for $200 so like caleb s said i wouldn't pay more than $150 for a used one.

I got a really good deal on mine brand new for about $150. This was a couple years ago. Especially for the price I paid for mine it is the best flasher on the market. They work just fine interference is a bit more touchy with the vx-1 but not bad.

Knowing what they normally go for I'd say $150 was fair for a used one.

I agree. new they are selling for just under $200. I just picked up a VX-1P (1000 watts) for $275.

I also agree i picked one up last year and love it. I also fished in hard house next to fl-8 with no problems. I usually only have to run the gain at around 2 to pick up my jig. The bottom zoom is also a nice feature. I would also say 150.00 to 175.00 for a used on.
