Clear Lake Info

Hello folks...am home for the holidays and want to try clear lake for some yellow bass. Just curious if anyone has been catching anything lately. I don't expect anyone to give up their secret spot but some general location info would be appreciated. Usually we fish around the island but have not been down since last year. Thanks in advance for the info.

I haven't fished it but reports I have read they are catching yellows. Not sure where, I'm sure look for the villages.

They were catching the yellows at Farmers Beach, but I can't tell you for sure as it is second hand information from the baitshop "Crazy Minnow" and I normally don't catch any fish out there. Was skunked the only time I was out this year.

Fish the west end of the lake around the Farmer's Beach area in that 8-12 ft. range. Lots of roaming schools of yellows there on the mud flats. Buckshot rattle spoons and minnow head.
