Marcum VS560 blues....

Yesterday I was on the ice and noticed that my Marcum VS560 has moisture in the lens. cry I've tried drying it out but the unit still won't pan or switch the lights on/off. The unit still power's up and shows the video image but with some fog on the lens. The fluid on the inside of the lens appears to be some type of anti-freeze coolant or something a bit more thick than water. I was wondering if anyone has had issues and how to get the problem resolved a.s.a.p. I absolutely love the unit and don't want to drop the money on another new one. I've heard Marcum is pretty darn good when it comes to customer service. Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Happy holidays! wink

I had the same problem a year or so back. I too absoutly loved mine also. I called Marcum, sent it in the same day and tracked it via the computer to make sure they got it. Then I recieved the bad news. I was told that they are now replacing these with the VS820 unit. They treated me very fair on a new VS820 price. Now I have this unit and it has been perfect also. I do miss some of the features the O'l 560 had but I guess there was a reason they removed them from the 820's.

Marcum customer serivce is 2nd to none.
