There are alot of good lake trout lakes in NW Ontario. I am partial to Pipestone Lake. Good numbers of nice average lakers with good trophy potential. The Manitou and surrounding lakes are real good for numbers and some nice fish as well. These lakes are nice because you are away from the crowds and busier lakes like Crow and the Nestor Falls area. They produce some good numbers as well, but with alot more traffic.

Just like Superbee mentioned Lower Manitou is outstanding as well as its surrounding lakes, all of them including pipestone are all within a 15-20 minute ride from the camp.

We also have sleds for rent if you need them.

My personal favorite is one of the very good suggestion's that superbee made. Pipestone Lake, in particular, the NW Arm. Excellent lake trout fishing there. He's probably too modest to mention that one of the best area's is right close to the outpost cabin he refers to as his Watson Bay Outpost. I've stayed there and it's an excellent cabin. superbee has a very nice venue there and I bet if you ask him real nice, he will put you on the fish as well! Good luck! 1DIRTBALL

If you are going to try Pipestone 1dirtball is right, the northwest arm is very good as well as straight out from superbees watson bay outpost.
