Fishing Realtor
For those of us still planning a last pheasant trip - how are things looking? Any parts of the North/Central part of the state with less than say 6" on the ground? I've found more than that can be tough. Any info would be greatly appreciated... wood_dog
I was west of Watertown last weekend. There are big drifts, but we also drove across stubble fields. Very little snow in open areas.
ifishsd
Just got back from hunting around lake poinsett south of watertown. The sloughs are all full of snow. At least a foot deep with drifts up to 4 feet deep. Most of the pheasants were out in the fields feeding where the snow wasn't very deep.
