High Octane

M1Tanker

Recommended Posts

So...strikemaster recommends 91 Octane and 40:1 Mix.

After having my Mag2000 get a clean bill of health from the tech who looked at it (started on the first pull for him...go figure...I must have broken it in for him with the first tank of gas), I want to run as strikemaster recommends (was running the first tank with 87 and 24:1 per the manual which has changed the past year).

Here is the problem...here in da U.P. the gas stations are one or two per town and ya get what get. In my town I can get 87, 89, 92, and 93.

Anyone run 93...that is the BP ultimate (non-oxy we don't have the same 10% rule as MN)?

I run the 89 octane that Super America sells here in Mn.(non-oxy). A small engine repair shop owner told me that it would keep my small engines running better for years, so I run it in all my small engines now, no problems yet. I also have had good luck running Amsoil with it.
