Northern Ice Fishing Assistance

What depth should I be fishing at for pike and what structure should I be looking for? I see a lot of people posting that they are catching fish in the range of 3-10FOW?

I am fishing the metro area......any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated. Long time summer fisherman trying to get involved in some ice fishing.

I dont fish for them up here, but my son lives in Cottage Grove and fishes for northern all the time. I have gone with him and he sets tip-ups in about 4 to 6ft. in a good weed line. He gets alot of fish this way!!

What sized sucker on a quickstrike do you guys find the "best" overall?

I like the biggest sucker possible.
