Cedar Rapids Area fishing options

Good day all. I'll be visiting some in-laws from December 31st until January 4th in Cedar Rapids. Are there any decent ice fishing opportunities there? Was gonna bring some minimal gear to give me something to do while I'm there. Any species will do. Thanks for any info.

Lake Macbride is always a good option. I used to ice fish out there all the time when I was in college.

Crappies and bluegills. There are some big ones in there...but I always had to weed through the small ones. I usually caught fish though. I would always fish along steep shorelines....it's been so long I don't exactly remember the names of roads or parks.
