Leech Lake Turned Cloudy... Any Explanation?

I just launched my newly completed spear house on the Sucker Bay of Leech lake last week. After using my Fish's Ice Saw for the first time ( GREAT TOOL!) I peered into the water to find it had turned very cloudy since my last open water fishing visit.

Can anybody explain why it may have gotten so cloudy and if there is any chance it will clear up in the near future?

when i put my house out all the stuff going down the hole, slush and all that junk it took some time to settle and clear up, not sure if that helps or not just giving it some time

About 4 years ago, LOTW was really cloudy. There was a major storm with high winds just as the lake was freezing. The people at Zippel Bay said everything got stirred up right before the ice formed and it would take a long time to clear. Maybe something like that happened?
