jiffy gearbox

My auger is about 3 years old, and I can't find the owners manual. Can anyone tell me if the gearbox oil should ever be changed, or just left alone.

I am pretty sure that they use sealed bearing now so that you can't grease them. My old Model 30 had a zerk but my new one doesn't. Get a new owners manual and it should say for sure.

No need to add any grease to the gear box.

Years ago Jiffy had zurk fittings on the gear box but this caused problems. People would pump to much grease into the gear box and it would work its way into the clutch assembly causing it to slip.

Since your auger is only 3 years old you are OK for a couple more years.
