West Okoboji??

Thinking about coming down for one last day of muskie fishing tomorrow. Just wondering if there's any ice on West Okoboji???

Well, I haven't been over to the lakes for a while. However, with the size and depth of West O it should be open. If there is any skim Ice it's more than likely along the banks in the morning. However, with it getting down to 10* tonight it could get a layer of skim ice on it really soon.

I watch this camera every day. All that was on there today was white caps.

No ice yet, but forcasted high of mid 20's won;t be fun. Chance of snow in the afternoon. Snowing here now and 11 degrees, looking for a low between 0-5 above for tonight. Winds still howling. Good luck and dress warm

I'm bringing lots of extra gloves and my big buddy heater. I can handle the cold and snow, I hate the wind. Looks like it should go down a little bit by tomorrow.....i hope. Thanks for the webcam link.
