LX3 and color blindness

Depending on your severity, I wonder if carefully placing a colored (red or green or yellow or ???) piece of plastic (see through) over the current face of the flasher would change the color schemes?

Last year there was talk of Marcum Tech coming up with a new color scheme for the LX3 for people who are red/brown/green color blind. Has anyone heard if there are plans to have it available this year and what the status is?
