old evinrude motor

My brother has a boat motor that we got from our grandpa after he died. We think we know what year it is but we are not sure. We think we have an evinrude from 1950 that is a 14 horsepower engine. We are wondering if anyone knows what the gas/oil ratio is for this engine or if anyone knows where we can find this info. Any info will be greatly appreciated.

What ever the ratio , be sure to use "AMSOIL".

Post the model number and I'll tell you what you have. 50:1 would be fine with todays oils.
