question about fuel injected outboards

I have a 2005 evinrude 115 hp direct inject motor. I unhooked the fuel line when I removed the motor from my boat for some repairs. I put the motor back on the boat and it won't start now. Plugs are dry(like no fuel is getting to them)Maybe air trapped somewhere? I replaced the pump ball and it pumped up rock hard. Any ideas.

Sounds like it's airlocked, possibly at the fuel pump. Are you able to crack a fuel line after the fuel pump to get it to bleed?

How many times have you tried to start it? It might just be a matter of trying to start it a while until it gets the air bled through the system.

I will try that. Ther is a "T" looking thing in one of the lines that may be for bleeding air out.
