I was thinking it would be nice to have a more clear picture of when the popular species spawn and how it relates to fishing for them. I generally know that perch spawn just after ice out and channel cats go when water heats up to 60-70 degrees but there are some species I am unsure of any specifics. So if you know a species well fill in the blanks:

Month of spawn/prime water temp(include season if only giving water temp):

Where spawn occurs:

Where feeding occurs just prior to spawn:

This might help people concentrate of the species that are feeding the most actively. Myself I can't fish at night much so if I chase some heavy feeders I am more likely to have action during the day.

One thing, these are vulnurable times for the fish, so try to fish them with respect prior/during/post spawn.
