If you don't mind me asking, what county are you guys getting these birds in. A friend and I are heading out tues. Also, is Laq qui Parle open already for pheasants? Any hints would be appreciated, thanks

Can't hunt LQP until after the goose season closes.

Hunting was very slow in the area. Lots of corn and bird numbers are down from last year.

plus 1 on what koonie said; we were south of lqp on private land and there was just too much corn yet. we shot all our birds on the edge or in the corn.
