No am hunt for me today. Looking for 12pm-4pm hunting advice.

I wasnt able to get out this morning, but I have the rest of the day off. I was looking to get out today, but I only have access to public land with water, is it worth it? Also, I might just scout today. What would be a good time to ensure that most ducks have reached water for the day? Thanks for any advice!!!!
