HT Perch Hanger Rigs???

Saw these in amongst the ice fishing toys at my local outdoor emporium.

I searched HT's web site, they aren't shown there, so....

This might sound a tad stupid - but could someone enlighten me as how/when/why a person would use these? What do these do that a ordinary jigging spoon or jig won't do?

My guess would be deep water perch. Getting your line back down fast.

I think these were developed for fishing deep perch where there maybe current moving the bait away from the bottom. You will want a flat washer on top of them so your flasher picks them up for setting depth.

They are nothing more than long slender pieces of lead with holes in each end.

Dropper rigs for deep water perchin'.

Tie your favorite jig to the business end and you are all set.
