Ripley private land????

Did not get drawn for the ripley hunt as was thinking on trying to get permission on private land close to ripley on the west side during the same weekend. Anyone ever do this? Are land owners open to this in that area or is most of the land already hunted with little hope of getting permision????

I grew up in Little Falls, and from what I know most of the land along the west side is pretty tied up with lifelong deer hunters. Go check out the muni in Randall to maybe get a hint who might be willing to let a bow hunter in. My guess is you will have a hard time. East of the Mississippi might not be too bad an option. The deer cross the river all the time. Get up towards the Fort Ripley area.
