Need Expert help Scouting

I haven't had much luck scouting this year. If I were to pick a time in the morning what would you guys say is the best time?I figure I could follow them from the lake to the field. Sounds easy but... Thanks in advance.

If you are talking about geese, morning and evening look in the fields. Middle of the day-water.
