does anyone know where to get some minners in the morning before 6 a.m. anywhere from stillwater to the bluffs??

Maybe beanies. Usually they crack the door before 6am. If I needed bait and wanted to go wait in line at the bluffs before it opened, I'd hop on my bike and go get some fatties before the stores closed tonight.

Don't like to plug the big box stores, but gander mtn is probably your only bet. A little far too. I don't believe you can make it in 10 min. If you bring a dip net out with you, I know you could scoop some minnows out of the river. The inlet on the Wisco side just north of the bluffs a bit up from the gas pipeline sign was holding tons of emeralds in the weeds Friday. I'm pretty sure they will be there tomorrow.
