Drought Conditions-Steele Area?

How are the Drought conditions in the Steele area. I will be going out there in late oct. and I heard it was bone dry right now. Any help would be appreciated.

Between Bismarck and Jamestown, roughly.

I can't comment on the conditions around Steele, but the Bismarck area has had rain off and on, mostly off for the majority of the summer. Could be a little dry. According to NOAA they are in abnormally dry to moderate drought conditions as of the 26th of August.

I haven't been through Steele in a while, but most of the Bismarck area is ranked moderate for Fire Danger, which is some inclination of how dry it is.

Things are as dry or dryer than last year, and water for waterfowl to rest in is going to be more difficult to find.
