I know the Wild signed Koivu to a multi-year contract. But what i don't know, is how many. So if anyone knows i would like to know. Thanks

Not sure either on the exact length but it was a multi year deal he signed 2 summers ago.

He has 3 years remaining. 08/09 at $3.3, 09/10 at $3.3, and 10/11 at $3.7

Reports are that Koivu/Gaborik/Sheppard will be on the same line. I hope that and other good signings will be enough for Gaborik to sign a long term deal. Koivu is on the cusp of being a really good dominant player, if not already. If he continues to get better his next contract will a nice one. Wild desperately needs a prductive second line to take the pressure off these two players...probably the best two on the team. It is time for our high draft picks like Pouliet to step up their game.

That doesn't make sense. Koivu and Sheppard are both centers. Koivu will center Gabby and Shep will probably be on the 2nd line.
