nine-tiner
Anyone know if they are still open for business? We are heading to the Akeley/Walker area this week for a few days on the trails and this was a nice spot to load/unload...and have a cold one. HNTNBUX
They are still open and expanding to have camping grounds. We camped there on 08/01-08/03. They had a few hook-ups for RV's and places for tents. Good luck and have fun the trails were great.
nine-tiner
Thanks, HNTNBUX. We had heard a rumor that they had gone out of business. We are looking forward to some good riding. We are stopping at Spider Lake on the way up Thursday, then hitting PBF Friday. So its nice to hear the trails are nice as well.
Paul
You will enjoy the trail system around the stomping grounds. They allow parking and unloading in their lot there but they prefer if you stop by and let them know and they will direct you were to park. They have good food there also. In October, the 25th I beleive the Red River Riders and the Forest Riders will be co-hosting the 2nd annual Charity Ride. THere will be a silent auction there and lots of riding. This years bennifactor is the Make-a-Wish foundation. Was a huge success last summer so we thought we had better do it again. Time to give the media something postitive to say about those darned atv'rs. LOL
