Lowrance LMS-520C and Minn Kota Universal Sonar

I currently have a Minn Kota Powerdrive 2006 model with Universal Sonar. I'm looking at getting the LMS-520c to use with the trolling motor, but I'm not sure the two will work together. Does anyone have this setup or know if it will work? If it will work, did you need an adaptor?

My rig came pre-rigged with a 520c and a Minnkota terrova with the US, so I had nothing to do with the setup. They seem to play nicely with each other though.

Do you know what year your trolling motor is? I think the trolling motors after 2006 use the universal sonar 2, and my trolling motor is using the universal sonar before universal sonar 2.

I have a 102c with my power drive. You will need cable to run from the graph to the minnkota, minnkota sells these for a wide array of graphs. You will also need a power cable with fuses for the graph. And then whatever you want to use to mount the graph, I used a RAM mount.

I think I will probably upgrade to a different graph on mine so I can network it with my 27c.

I have the 520c but it's connected to a slightly newer Minn-Kota with the revised US2. Seems to work well.

i don't have universal sonar on my motor but have used it in other boats and was pleasantly surprised by how well it seems to work.

Haack, the US1 compatibility list does not show the 520C.
