2001 sportsman 500 ho not charging

is there a fuse somewhere, or where do i start looking?

More than likely its your voltage regulator/rectifier. It's located in front of the radiator with 4 or 5 wires coming out of it. Could also be the stator but I really doubt it.

thanks norm, found a red wire corroded and not connected at the regulator, new connector and good to go.
