I have several 1000 spinning reels with quick fire triggers. The part of the trigger that the line slides through after closing bale closes gets too close to the wire part of the bale. As a result the line sits there rather than in the roller where it is supposed to be. Then as I reel the line twists to no end. The gap in that area just gets too small. One of the problems is on a fairly new reel. One has a lot of miles on it. Some of these reels also kind of lock up as I start to reel after a cast like it is stuck half way between open bale and closed.
I am sure I am not the only one that has had this happen. If any one knows of a cheap fix, I'd appreciate it.
Chamois passed away this weekend a couple days short of her 13th bday.
What a great dog to hang out with here at home and on distant adventures.
Gonna miss ya big time my little big girl.
